Acrylic
Description
Available thicknesses: .060, 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".
The synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate, acrylic has wonderful optical properties often used as a susbtitute for glass. Reacts very well to UV light. Great for lettering. Comes in a variety of colors:
black, bronze, clear, green, opaque white, light blue, dark blue, orange, ivory, white, yellow, red, mirrored, smoked grey, and smoked dark grey.
Typical Application
The typical application of acrylics are interior directional signage, dimensional accented routed letters, interior clear faces, and nameplate standoffs.
Polystyrene

Description
Thicknesses from .015 - .125
High Impact Polystyrene sheet is produced from high grade extrusion type monomers. The sheets have good toughness, and environmental stress crack properties. A rigid material that resists dents and cracking, accepts pressure sensitive vinyl films, screen inks and digital imaging. Creases easily in sheets below .040 thickness. Can be sawed, sheared, knife and die cut.
Typical Application
High Impact Polystyrene is used in shower wall and tub surrounds automotive, signage, exhibit and display, POP, and industrial part fabrication.
Polycarbonate

Description
Thicknesses .030 / 1/16" / 1/8" / 3/16" / 1/4"
A polycarbonate sheet that is 30 times stronger than acrylic, and is great for use in high traffic areas where breakage is a concern. Maintains its impact strength at low temperatures and can be fabricated using a variety of woodworking tools. Available colors white and clear.
Typical Application
The typical applications of Polycarbonate are interior or exterior signs, exterior letters, barrel vault skylights, precision machined parts, mass transit signs, permanent sign boards, an alternative to acrylic, sign faces, domed playground windows, menu covers.
PVC

Description
Thicknesses 1mm - 30mm
Skin foam, Semi finished foam, and closed cell sheets with matte and gloss finish and are homogeneously colored throughout.
Typical Application
Post and Panel Signs, Hanging Signs, Wall Mounted Signs, Displays, Digitally Printable, Dimensional Signs, Letters, Routed Signs.
King Color Core, Engravable Multicolor Polymer
Description
A high density polyethylene exterior grade plastic featuring a color color and alternative color top and bottom layer. When routed the contrasting color acts as an engraving stock.
Available in beige/green, black/white, white/black, blue/white, white/blue, and red/yellow.
Typical Application
Exterior routed directional signs, exterior plaques. Two color engraving projects.
Corrugated Plastic
Description
Thicknesses 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 10mm
Corrugated Polypropylene - Limited exterior life. Coroplast® readily accepts presser sensitive vinyl graphics, screen inks, and digital images. Mount in frames, on stakes or using Step-Stakes®, available in a variety of colors and sizes.
Typical Application
Coroplast® sheets are used extensively for indoor and outdoor signage, display panels, real estate & election signs, shipping containers, packaging, and architectural modeling.
