Plastics

Acrylic

Description
Available thicknesses: .060, 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".
The synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate, acrylic has wonderful optical properties often used as a susbtitute for glass. Reacts very well to UV light. Great for lettering. Comes in a variety of colors: black, bronze, clear, green, opaque white, light blue, dark blue, orange, ivory, white, yellow, red, mirrored, smoked grey, and smoked dark grey.

Typical Application
The typical application of acrylics are interior directional signage, dimensional accented routed letters, interior clear faces, and nameplate standoffs.

Polystyrene Indoor / Outdoor / POP / Digital Backing

Description
Thicknesses from .015 - .125
High Impact Polystyrene sheet is produced from high grade extrusion type monomers. The sheets have good toughness, and environmental stress crack properties. A rigid material that resists dents and cracking, accepts pressure sensitive vinyl films, screen inks and digital imaging. Creases easily in sheets below .040 thickness. Can be sawed, sheared, knife and die cut.

Typical Application
High Impact Polystyrene is used in shower wall and tub surrounds automotive, signage, exhibit and display, POP, and industrial part fabrication.

Polycarbonate Outdoor / Lit Signs / 3/16" standard

Description
Thicknesses .030 / 1/16" / 1/8" / 3/16" / 1/4"
A polycarbonate sheet that is 30 times stronger than acrylic, and is great for use in high traffic areas where breakage is a concern. Maintains its impact strength at low temperatures and can be fabricated using a variety of woodworking tools. Available colors white and clear.

Typical Application
The typical applications of Polycarbonate are interior or exterior signs, exterior letters, barrel vault skylights, precision machined parts, mass transit signs, permanent sign boards, an alternative to acrylic, sign faces, domed playground windows, menu covers.

PVC Komacel / Komatex

Description
Thicknesses 1mm - 30mm
Skin foam, Semi finished foam, and closed cell sheets with matte and gloss finish and are homogeneously colored throughout.

Typical Application
Post and Panel Signs, Hanging Signs, Wall Mounted Signs, Displays, Digitally Printable, Dimensional Signs, Letters, Routed Signs.

King Color Core, Engravable Multicolor Polymer

Description
A high density polyethylene exterior grade plastic featuring a color color and alternative color top and bottom layer. When routed the contrasting color acts as an engraving stock. Available in beige/green, black/white, white/black, blue/white, white/blue, and red/yellow.

Typical Application
Exterior routed directional signs, exterior plaques. Two color engraving projects.

Corrugated Plastic

Description
Thicknesses 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 10mm
Corrugated Polypropylene - Limited exterior life. Coroplast® readily accepts presser sensitive vinyl graphics, screen inks, and digital images. Mount in frames, on stakes or using Step-Stakes®, available in a variety of colors and sizes.

Typical Application
Coroplast® sheets are used extensively for indoor and outdoor signage, display panels, real estate & election signs, shipping containers, packaging, and architectural modeling. Temporary / Economical

Hard and Soft Wood

MDO Outdoor / Wood Composite / Site Signs

Description
Thicknesses from 5/16" - 1 1/4"
Exterior plywood panels that have a resin impregnated fiber overlay that has been fused to the surface of the panel. The overlay virtually eliminates surface checking, and looks better, longer after painting. Available unprimed or primed.

Typical Application
The typical applications of MDO are sign panels, linings, cabinets, highway and traffic signs, industrial shelving, furniture, containers, and billboards.

Western Red Cedar

Description
Thicknesses of 1 5/16", 1 9/16", 1 11/16", 2 7/16", 3 1/8" and 5"
The blanks are made bygluing full-length strips (1.4" wide) of clear cedar into plank of the desired length. The result is a highly stable and homogeneous plank with no finger joints! The sign blanks are laminated with waterproof resorcinol glue. One face is of sign quality, sanded with 80 grit paper. Reverse side may contain defects.

Typical Application
These high quality blanks are manufactured from carefully selected Western Red Cedar and are designed for both carved and sandblasted signs.

Vinyl Banners Outdoor / Indoor

Blank material for many applications both interior and exterior including job site signs, parking signs, and real estate signage.

Description
Material Weight: 13oz - 19oz
Short to long term use indoors and outdoors with several weights to choose from between 10 - 20 ounces depending on the use. Double sided available along with smooth, semi gloss and gloss finishes. Several finishing options like d-rings, grommets, hems, double folds, double stitched, reinforced corners, webbing leaders, pole pockets.

Typical Application
Schools, churches and businesses use banners to advertise events grand openings and specials. Banners can be displayed on buildings, in windows, on street corners and poles, advertising possibilities are endless.

Magnetics Vehicle / Trailer Use - Temporary and Removable

Description
Material Weight: Our Choice is ProMag with a .030 Thickness
A completely waterproof flexible magnetic product, which is available in a wide variety of colors shapes and sizes. Has very good magnetic strength and is made of a compound formulation best suited for the sign industry.

The typical application of Magnetic is vehicle signs, menu boards, hobbies, point of purchase displays, crafts, and promotional magnets.
